I have over eight years' experience writing Web content, blog posts, articles, and a book. The Creative Activism Guide (booklocker.com, 2007) describes a variety of idea-generating tools and problem-solving techniques and their applications to social change efforts.

Since entering Oklahoma State Univeristy in 1995, I worked with a state agency serving developmentally disabled persons, with an education nonprofit in Cincinnati, with a policy research organization, and as a professor at Fort Hays State University.

I earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from Oklahoma State University in 1999. My sociology background combined with my later work experience makes me uniquely equipped to translate social science research into words that inform and persuade.
